Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of PERKAMA International. We offer four categories of membership. Please select the type of membership that best suits your current qualifications and background, then proceed with the application process.

FOUR CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP
Student Member
Student membership is open to those pursuing courses in counseling or related areas in an approved institution of higher learning, with the prior approval of the Vice Chancellor of the university or university college concerned. Such membership is open to all qualified local and international students.
Professional Member (Ordinary Member)
Professional Membership (Ordinary Member) is open to only those who have degrees or diplomas in Counseling, Guidance and Counseling or in Counseling Psychology field from an approved institution and is acceptable to the executive council.
Allied Member (Associate Member)
Allied membership (Associate Member) is open to any person who has an interest in the helping profession.
Life Member
Life membership is for those who have academic qualifications in the counseling field. Professional Members and Fellow Members may apply to become Life Members. Such membership is open to all qualified individuals within the country or abroad.

Fellowship is conferred on members who fulfill the following requirements on the recommendation of the Executive Council:
Those who have been engaged in counseling work or research for a minimum period of 5 years subsequent to the attainment of membership, and
Those who possess an advanced knowledge of counseling in at least one of its related areas.
Those who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of counseling knowledge or practice.
2ND- READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF MEMBERSHIP
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Life membership is for those who have academic qualifications in the counselling field. Life members are not required to renew membership.
2. Student Membership is open to students who are enrolled in counselling programmes. Members have to pay a yearly renewal membership fee of RM 10.00.
3. Professional Membership (Regular Member) is open to anyone with academic qualifications in the counselling field. Members have to pay a yearly renewal membership fee of RM 30.00.
4. Allied membership is for those without academic qualifications in counselling but who are interested in the helping profession. The yearly renewal membership fee is RM 30.00
